OPP in the Town of the Blue Mountains have charged a resident with theft after a traffic stop.
On the afternoon of December 11th, police stopped a vehicle on Grey Road 19 in the town after their automatic licence plate reader detected a stolen plate.
The 48-year-old driver of the vehicle was charged with a number of offences, including possession of property obtained by crime over $5000, driving without a licence, driving without insurance, and driving with an unauthorized licence plate.
The accused has a court date in Owen Sound set for February 27th.
