
Blue Mountain Resort is officially opening its ski hills today for the 2024/2025 season.
The resort says the first Silver Bullet chairlift will be running from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. today.
Before skiers and snowboarders tackle the popular trails, resort President and COO Dan Skelton will give opening remarks at 8:30 a.m. at the bottom of the chairlift, where music and giveaways will be offered.
“Opening day is always special at Blue Mountain,” says Skelton. “Our snowmaking team has worked tirelessly to ensure top-notch conditions, and we can’t wait to welcome guests back to experience everything our resort has to offer.”
As part of the start to the ski season, the resort is offering Kids Ski Free Week for children between the ages and five and 12 until Dec. 13
The resort is opening earlier than the previous anticipated Dec. 12 date.
