If you have thought about helping protect Huron County’s drinking water, an opportunity is opening.
The Ausable Bayfield Conservation Authority is looking to fill a vacancy in their water Source Protection Committee (SPC).
The SPC develops plans to keep chemicals, bacteria, pathogens, and other pollution out of the area’s drinking water.
Applicants must reside in, own or rent land in, be employed in, operate a business in, or be employed by a municipality within the Ausable Bayfield watershed.
The deadline to apply is December 13th by 4:00 p.m.
