Owen Sound Police say technical issues with its 911 lines have been resolved.
“Bell 911 has advised that all 911 lines have been successfully repaired. The Owen Sound Emergency Communications Centre has processed several test calls and confirms that our dispatchers are now actively answering all 911 lines. We would like to thank our dispatch partner agency that worked alongside our dispatchers today to ensure no call went unanswered,” a notice from the local police service explains.
