Huronia West OPP say they’ll beef up their presence around Wasaga Beach this weekend, to head off any issues associated with souped up cars, and unsafe driving.
Car enthusiasts have converged on the town in the past, and the crowds, along with fast cars resulted in complaints about noise and property damage.
Police and the town have developed a strategy which includes roadside checks, towing away illegally modified cars and stunt driving charges for reckless drivers.
