Collingwood and The Blue Mountains OPP say an unpaid bill at the Blue Mountains Resort resulted in an assault charge.
Police say on Sept. 15, a dispute between a patron and a staff member took place outside a restaurant at the resort as a result of an unpaid bill.
Footage was captured of the dispute and was shared on social media, which led police to identify those involved.
Police say the unpaid bill was settled in full shortly after the incident.
As a result, the 38-year-old from Brampton has been charged with assault and uttering threats to cause bodily harm.
The accused is set to appear in court in Owen Sound later next month.
