A new pedestrian bridge has opened, connecting Hen and Chicken Island in Collingwood to the White’s Bay trail.
The original bridge was damaged in a storm back in 2019.
It’s taken several years for the town to allocate funding, and then have the new structure designed and built to current safety standards.
