Hanover Police say a woman is facing a list of charges following a stabbing at a home.
Police say on Aug. 27 shortly after 9 p.m., officers responded to a house in the 500 block of 10th Avenue in the southern Grey County town.
When officers arrived, police say they found a man who was stabbed several times with a knife in the face and neck by a female acquaintance.
Officers found the woman attempting to leave the scene, but placed her under arrest without incident.
The man was taken by Grey County paramedics to the Hanover and District Hospital, where he was treated for his injuries and later released.
As a result, police say the 36-year-old woman of no fixed address was charged with aggravated assault, assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, and four counts of breaching probation.
Police say the accused remains in custody and appeared for a bail hearing on Wednesday.
