Hospice Dufferin and Bethell Hospice are teaming up to help improve access to palliative and community care services across Dufferin County.
All hospice palliative care, grief and bereavement, and community services will fall under one roof as of October 1st, 2024.
Officials say the aim is “to create one point of access for those with palliative care needs living in Dufferin County, Caledon and surrounding areas.”
Ontario Health is helping make the transition smooth including a seamless transition of care for all current Hospice Dufferin clients over to Bethell Hospice.
A release says the board of directors of both hospices are committed to this new vision.
