It’s the end of the road for a Collingwood taxi company.
Ace Cabs will shut down at the end of September after more than 80 years of operations.
A news release says the business is not sustainable in the face of competition from ride sharing services, and more extensive transit service in the town.
A sister company, ACE Transportation group group will continue to provide accessible transit service under contract with the town, as well as out of town trips and private transportation.
