The Grey Bruce Ladies Fastball League wrapped up their regular season Thursday night.
Meaford Leaky Canoe downed the Allenford Aces 8-0 squaring off for the first time of the season.
An email from the league’s Jenn Croft says, “Stopping the Aces from scoring 4 innings in a row. Meaford pecked away each inning with a run here and there, Taylor Neil went 4 for 4 at the plate and Dasi Clock rocked her debut in the league going 3 for 4 at the plate. Kinzy pitched a great game for the Aces,” adding, “Both teams played great.”
Meanwhile, Team Tedford Allenford Gators squared off with the Port Elgin Devils. Allenford Gators won 1-0 to become the year-end Grey Bruce Ladies League Champ.
Next week, the playoffs start for the final 2024 Championship.
