Elm Street in Wiarton is closed today and tomorrow from Berford Street (Highway 6) to Thompson’s Sideroad for paving.
A notice from the Town of South Bruce Peninsula says “This closure is necessary to ensure the safety and efficiency of the paving work.”
The work in being done in collaboration with the Township of Georgian Bluffs. It involves the complete reconstruction of the road, installation of sanitary sewers, storm sewers, and watermain as well as sidewalk, boulevard restoration and surface asphalt.
