Upgrades are being planned for a section of Highway 26 west of Collingwood.
The transportation ministry has started working on various studies and designs for improvements to highway intersections at Grey Roads two and 21.
They also want to revamp a culvert along that stretch, and put some lighting in at Grey Road 10.
The ministry has established a website for the project, which will be updated as the process moves along.
There will also be opportunities for public comment.
