Some road rehabilitation work is going to start in Mildmay later this month.
Bruce County says the work along Bruce Road 6E from George Street to Kleist Street will include the rehabilitation of the storm and sanitary sewer, the watermain, patching the sidewalk, extending the concrete curb, and road resurfacing.
“This will result in minor disruptions during the project, such as laneway access and minor period water shut off to affect residents. Notices will be provided 24 hours in advance,” says the county.
As part of the work, daily road closures will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. starting July 29 and ending in October.
