A heads up for boaters and other recreational users of the Collingwood Harbour area.
The town has contracted with a licensed professional to spray for weeds Tuesday July 23 in the harbour basin.
Excessive weed growth has become a significant problem as it fouls boat propellers causing a safety hazard.
People are advised to stay out the water in area for 24 hours following spraying.
