Hospitals across Huron County are getting a surge of funding from the province.
More than $3.1 million was announced by Huron-Bruce Progressive Conservative MPP Lisa Thompson for area hospitals, under the Health Infrastructure Renewal Fund.
The funding will help address urgent infrastructure needs such as upgrading or replacing roofs, windows, security and fire alarm systems and emergency generators.
The recipients include:
- Alexandra Marine and General Hospital will receive $595,679
- Clinton Public Hospital will receive $627,467
- Seaforth Community Hospital will receive $1,018,569
- South Huron Hospital will receive $144,053
- Wingham and District Hospital will receive $775,562
