Grey Bruce OPP are appealing for tips after a break-and-enter at the former Markdale Hospital.
Police say they received a report on July 2 about the old hospital on Isla Street being broken into, and several power tools and copper pipes stolen.
The OPP say there was also damage done to the property. Police didn’t say exactly what that entailed, but pegged the damage at more than $100,000.
Anyone with information that could help is being asked to contact the OPP or Crime Stoppers.
Police say this is the second time the former Markdale Hospital has been broken into and items stolen since the facility closed in 2023.
