The Team Ontario U17 squad finished with a perfect 4-0 record at the two-day MidWeek Confidential tournament in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania on Monday and Tuesday.
Team Ontario, featuring Owen Sound North Stars Bree Wilkins, Taryn Weppler and head coach Lyndsay Brooks, started the tournament on Monday with a 6-3 victory over Lakeshore 2026 and followed up with a decisive 7-2 win over Tenacity Project 2026.
Day two saw Team Ontario pick up two more wins. The team was trailing Tenacity Project 2027 5-2 early in the second half before storming back to a 6-5 victory. Bree Wilkins scored two second half goals which were key factors in the win and was named player of the game for her efforts.
Team Ontario finished the day, and the tournament, with a 10-1 win over Triumph 2026.
The Team Ontario U17 squad will be in action next at the Mid-Atlantic Summer Classic in Lutherville, Maryland July 13th and 14th.
