Owen Sound Police say a senior was brought to hospital following a vehicle rollover in the city.
Police say on Wednesday, a vehicle travelling northbound on 7th Avenue East from 16th Street East in Owen Sound struck a parked vehicle and rolled over onto the passenger side.
The 80-year-old female driver was transported by ambulance to Brightshores Hospital with what is believed to be minor injuries.
Police were joined by the Owen Sound Fire Department at the scene, and resulted in the roadway being closed for under an hour.
“Both involved vehicles received significant damage and had to be towed from the scene,” says police.
As a result, the woman from Owen Sound was charged with careless driving.
