Hanover Police have charged a man who allegedly fled from a traffic stop earlier this month.
Police say they attempted to pull over a black Mitsubishi Outlander on 2nd Avenue in Hanover back on June 12, after receiving a driving complaint about the vehicle.
But the driver didn’t stop, and instead sped away “in a dangerous manner.” Police officers did not pursue the vehicle for public safety reasons.
Hanover Police say they were able to identify the 40-year-old male suspect. He was arrested recently after being found in the passenger seat of another vehicle during a traffic stop.
The 40-year-old Hanover man was charged with flight from police and other offences.
