A 39-year-old from Georgian Bluffs is facing assault charges after an incident in South Bruce Peninsula.
On June 17th, police were called to Purple Valley Road, where a victim was hit on the head, and the suspect then left the area in a vehicle.
The victim received minor injuries.
Police were able to find the suspect a short time later.
The accused was held pending a bail hearing after being charged with assault with a weapon and failure to comply with a release order.
