Former Owen Sound North Stars girls field lacrosse player Jillian Goldie has been named to the Team Canada U20 team.
Goldie, who currently plays with the University of Massachusetts Lowell women’s team, and Team Canada, will compete in the World Lacrosse 2024 Women’s U20 Championship which will take place in Hong Kong, China from August 15th -24th.
Canada currently ranks 2nd in the world only behind USA for the women’s U20 rankings. Canada has been placed in group B which consists of Haudenosaunee, Korea, Chinese Taipei, and Wales.
