Kincardine council has approved the tender for the reconstruction of Bruce Avenue.
Omega Contractors Inc. will be completing the work, which going to include upgrades for water drainage that will be completed under the sidewalk.
Construction will take place along Bruce Avenue from Park Street to Princes Street.
Omega’s estimate for the work is just shy of $2.1 million.
The company also holds the contract for work on Mount Forest Avenue, and they’ve completed other projects for the municipality.
The work on Bruce Avenue is expected to be complete by November of this year.
