A ribbon cutting ceremony was held today for the Dynacare lab in Port Elgin.
The lab is inside Rexall on Goderich Street.
A release says it’s open weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and has an extensive test menu with over 1,500 tests derived from blood and urine collection and glucose tolerance testing.
They say many of the results can be electronically delivered to healthcare providers in real-time.
Dynacare has about 170 Laboratory and Health Services Centres, eight laboratories and 11 offices across Canada.
