Desboro Royals 8 Meaford Leeky Canoe 7
The Desboro Royals downed Meaford Leeky Canoe 8-7 in Grey Bruce Ladies League play Wednesday.
The Desboro offence was led by Maddy Moore with a double and three singles, Jenna Ethier doubled and added 2 singles, Summer Roney had a trio of singles and Kaitlyn Roney added a triple.
Moore and Kollby Kruger combined to strikeout 10. For Meaford, Kelly Hanley and Maddy Parish shared pitching duties, and Abby Schenck homered and singled.
