Medical students are receiving crucial medical training in Huron and Perth counties.
28 first-year students from Western University’s Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry are spending the week of June 3rd at healthcare facilities in the region.
The studies are part of “Discovery Week 2024,” where students take part in one-week placements, for exposure to teamwork and collaboration within a community healthcare setting.
During Discovery Week 2024, more than 170 Schulich Medicine students will be placed in 31 participating communities, from Owen Sound to Windsor-Essex and Woodstock to Lake Huron.
