Officials have released what they believe is the cause of a multi-million dollar fire that happened last weekend.
On May 25th just after 7 p.m., a fire started at Watson’s Home Hardware.
Goderich Fire Chief Jeff Wormington says that the fire is considered to be electrical in origin, and there’s no evidence that the fire was set intentionally.
Fire crews from Goderich, Bluewater, Central Huron, Howick, North Huron, and South Huron all helped to quell the blaze for several hours into Saturday, and no injuries were reported.
