Some roads will be closed in downtown Owen Sound this weekend for a fundraising event.
City staff advise 2nd Avenue East will be closed between 8th and 10th Streets East, as well as 9th Street East between 1st and 3rd Avenues East.
The closures will start at 12 p.m. today (Friday) and remain in place until 12 p.m. Sunday, May 5.
“Businesses will remain accessible throughout the closure. Parking is available in nearby municipal lots and on-street where permitted,” a statement from city hall explains.
The road closures are for the inaugural Brightshores Ball Hockey “Cellybration” in support of local healthcare.
