A 31-year-old Brampton resident faces impaired driving charges in Archipelago Twp.
On April 20th OPP were enforcing a RIDE checkpoint on Highway 69.
They say a vehicle approached the checkpoint, and it was determined the driver had been consuming alcohol.
The driver failed an Approved Screening Device (A.S.D) check at the roadside and was charged with impaired driving.
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on June 6th, 2024.
They were also issued a 90-day Administrative Drivers Licence Suspension (ADLS), and the vehicle was impounded for seven days.
