It looks like it’ll be a mostly cloudy sky for most of Grey Bruce for today’s solar eclipse.
But there is a chance of some sunny breaks throughout the day. The eclipse will start around 2 p.m. Monday afternoon, and peak at about 3:15 p.m.
It’s been 99 years since the last time a total eclipse was visible in southern Ontario. The Grey Bruce region is near the path but not in it and won’t have a total eclipse today — around 95 per cent of the sun will be covered by the moon during the peak this afternoon.
