Sam Sedley scored the lone goal of the shootout as the Owen Sound Attack outlasted the Erie Otters in a back-and-forth, high-scoring affair 7-6 in Ontario Hockey League action Sunday afternoon at Erie Insurance Arena.
Cedrick Guindon and Ben Cormier each scored a pair for the Attack (28-27-5-3), which won back-to-back games for the first time since late January. Landen Hookey also scored and added two assists, to cap a six-point weekend. Colby Barlow found the net for Owen Sound as well.
Dylan Edwards had a pair for Erie. While Ondrej Molnar, Bruce McDonald, Pano Fimis and Owain Johnston also scored for the Otters (28-27-5-2).
The Attack officially clinched a playoff berth with the win.
