A charity hockey game in Chesley raised $6,300 dollars for local school breakfast programs.
Earlier this month, the Arran-Elderslie Ice Dogs under-18 team took on local OPP, paramedics and firefighters, with Arran-Elderslie Mayor Steve Hammel in goal for the first responders team.
There was a 50/50 draw, bake sale and gift baskets.
Organizers say the money raised will go to the breakfast programs in schools in Chesley, Paisley and Tara.
