There’s a public meeting tonight in Saugeen Shores about the proposed expansion of a local concrete plant.
Carson’s Supply, a business that has been in Port Elgin for 40 years is looking to expand in a new location not far up the road, which is currently zoned as agricultural land.
Tuesday’s meeting will outline their proposed zoning bylaw amendment.
A Town staff report says, the purpose of Tuesday’s public meeting is to present the proposal to council and to obtain feedback from local council and the community.
The meeting is set to begin at 6:30 p.m. February 20th, in council chambers in Port Elgin.
