Southern Georgian Bay OPP have charged a 17-year-old with impaired driving following a call from another driver.
At around 1:30 yesterday morning, a driver reported seeing a vehicle failing to stop for a stop sign, and then end up in a ditch at the intersection of Brunelle Sideroad and Fuller Drive in the Town of Midland.
Four people exited the vehicle and were seen leaving the area on foot.
Police were able to find the occupants of the vehicle minutes later, and were able to determine that the driver had been drinking.
The 17-year-old from Burlington is charged with operation while impaired, and having a blood alcohol concentration over 80mg. Their licence has also been suspended for 90 days. The vehicle has been impounded for 7 days.
