Bruce County is looking to hear from residents as it develops an updated Child Care and Early Years Services Plan.
The county says the new plan for 2024 to 2029 will help ensure children and families have access to a range of high-quality, inclusive and affordable early years and child care programs and services.
Warden Chris Peabody says, “input from parents and guardians of the county’s youngest residents is essential for enhancing the programming and partnerships that support early learning and development.”
The county’s children’s services will also be consulting with child care operators and service partners in the coming months as it works to update the Child Care and Early Years Service System Plan.
Parents and guardians of children up to the age of 12 can take part in the survey until March 17.
The survey can be found here and hard copies can be requested by calling 1-800-265-3005 or emailing childcare@brucecounty.on.ca.
