An Oro-Medonte resident is now facing impaired driving-related charges after Orillia OPP was called to a single-vehicle collision.
Police responded to the call just before 3 p.m. yesterday, after a vehicle struck a hydro pole on Line 12 South in Oro-Medonte Township.
It was reported that the driver, who appeared to be intoxicated had suffered an injury and was attempting to get out of the vehicle.
A 66-year-old is charged with operation while impaired by alcohol and driving with a blood alcohol level over the legal limit.
The driver suffered minor injuries and was taken to a local hospital by ambulance.
