Orillia OPP has charged a woman with impaired operation.
Police stopped a driver in the area of Highway 12 and Memorial Avenue just before 3:30 Thursday afternoon, who was on their cell phone while driving.
Officers found the driver was impaired and arrested her. They then found out that she had just appeared in court earlier for a similar impaired driving charge.
The 36-year-old woman from Collingwood is facing a new charge of operation while impaired.
She’ll be back in court next month to answer to the new charge.
Police also suspended her licence for 90 days, and the vehicle was impounded for 7 days.
