Saugeen Shores Police is advising people to stay off the ice after responding to a possible drowning at Fisherman’s Park.
Police posted on Facebook yesterday, they responded to the park for a possible drowning along with paramedic services and the fire department.
Emergency services found four people who had escaped the river but were cold and wet.
The four were transported to the hospital out of precaution.
“This is a reminder to everyone to stay off the ice as the weather has warmed up significantly causing unfavourable and dangerous conditions,” says police.
