Saugeen Shores Police say, while on the way to investigate an impaired driving call, they stopped and arrested another driver for impaired operation as well.
Police say at about 12:30 Wednesday morning, they were dispatched to a report about a vehicle in the ditch on Harbour Street in Port Elgin.
On the way there, they say a separate traffic stop was conducted where the driver failed a roadside screening and was arrested.
Additional officers continued to the site of the original collision and they say they were able to identify a female driver they located at a Port Elgin residence.
Police say she was displaying several signs of impairment and was arrested.
A 25-year old Bruce County woman a 35-year-old Bruce County man have each been charged with impaired driving.
