A Chatsworth man faces drug trafficking charges after being arrested for allegedly stealing a pick-up truck.
Hanover Police say the stolen vehicle was recovered last Thursday, Jan. 18 and a 29-year-old from Chatsworth was arrested.
Police say the pick-up truck was taken from a property in Meaford, and recovered later the same day.
Hanover Police say they also found about $9,000 worth of narcotics on the man during the investigation and allege the accused was selling them.
The 29-year-old Chatsworth man was also in possession of “break-in tools” and other stolen property. He was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking, and several other offences.
Hanover Police say they’re also seeking a warrant for the arrest of a 28-year-old man of no fixed address who was a passenger in the stolen pick-up truck.
