A 37-year-old man from Caledon is facing impaired driving charges after a traffic stop in the Town of the Blue Mountains.
Police were conducting a RIDE stop early Saturday morning when they stopped a vehicle and found that there was an open container of alcohol in the centre console and in the driver-side door.
Officers then conducted a roadside test, and the driver was then arrested and taken to the Collingwood OPP detachment for a breath test.
The driver was served a 90-day licence suspension, and the vehicle was impounded for seven days. He’ll appear in a Collingwood Court at a future date.
