Taxes in Collingwood will be rising by about two per cent this year.
Council has approved the town’s 2024 budget.
The municipality’s share of the tax increase is 1.67 per cent.
When the county and school board taxes are added, the hike will be 1.95 percent.
Big ticket items include more than $4 million for the Ste. Marie St. Public Space.
There’s also money for the Eddie Bush Arena, new parks, and road improvements.
