An Owen Sound man faces charges after an incident in Hanover.
Police Chief Christopher Knoll says officers responded to a suspicious person call with reports that a male suspect was going through backyards and onto decks at the backs of homes.
Knoll says officers located a disoriented man who appeared to be under the influence of drugs and who they say provided a false name.
He was arrested, and police say once they determined his real name, they found the 38 year old Owen Sound man had several warrants for his arrest.
Police say during the booking process, he spat on officers, and they allege he was physically assaultive. He faces further charges, including assaulting police.
