Hanover police have charged a man after a foot chase.
Police Chief Christopher Knoll says officers spotted a wanted suspect on 10th Avenue who, they say, fled on foot through backyards.
Knoll says, after hurdling over a few fences and running across several properties, the suspect was stopped by police.
A 30-year-old Hanover man faces charges for break and enter, theft, possession of stolen property over $5000, dangerous driving and flight from police.
Knoll says, police are apologizing for the commotion in people’s backyards, and adds, officers did their best to return toppled over outdoor furniture to their upright positions.
