The first 560 CFOS Community Food Drive is happening today at several grocery stores in Owen Sound.
Announcers are broadcasting live from Zehrs until 6 p.m. on 560 CFOS, while volunteers from The Salvation Army and Bayshore Broadcasting’s other stations Mix 106.5 and County 93 will be at Foodland, Metro, No Frills and Food Basics throughout the day to collection cash and food donations.
Pre-made bags that contain some of the essential items most-needed by the food bank will also be available for purchase at each store.
Those who can’t make it to one of the Owen Sound grocery store locations today can call in a donation between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. at 519-376-5699.
