South Bruce Peninsula council is expected to decide if it will pass its 2024 budget Tuesday.
The proposed roughly $12.3 million budget would require a 4.99 per cent tax levy increase.
It was council’s request the tax levy be kept under five per cent.
Staff say there are 46 capital projects proposed for 2024 with a value of about $7.2 million.
Some notable items in the budget include the new garbage contract to haul curbside waste out of town in the interest of extending the limited life of the landfill, some road work, and a contribution to the Grey Transit Route.
