On demand transit has begun in part of Wasaga Beach.
The first phase covers the east part of town.
Instead of the bus travelling a fixed route on a fixed schedule, the bus goes to where people need a ride when they need it.
Passengers can book as far ahead as two weeks, or as little as 15 minutes before they need the bus.
Once booked, the bus will pick up and drop off at the existing stop locations or new virtual stops.
