Officers from the Orillia Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) seized a large quantity of cocaine and cash, arresting one individual during the execution of a search warrant in the City of Orillia.
On November 1, 2023, members of the Orillia Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) with the assistance of the Muskoka CSCU, executed search a warrant at a residence on Colborne Street in the City of Orillia.
As a result of the investigation, police seized the following:
· 82 grams of Cocaine
· $1050 in Canadian Currency
The following individual has been charged:
A 42-year-old from Orillia was charged with:
· Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking Cocaine.
· Possession of Proceeds of Crime under $5,000
The accused was held pending a bail hearing today in Barrie.
