Owen Sound Police say they’ve charged three men for allegedly firing off a shotgun in the city.
Police didn’t say exactly where the incident happened over the weekend, only that an officer followed a “suspicious vehicle” into a property where an abandoned building used to sit.
“Upon investigating, there were several loud bangs heard, which were later determined to be a shotgun being fired within the city limits. Uniformed members of the Owen Sound Police attended to assist and the males were taken into custody,” City police say in a release. “The firearm, along with a box of ammunition, was seized.”
Three men from the Grey Bruce region, who were not identified by police, were charged with careless use of a firearm and other offences.
