Owen Sound’s final household hazardous waste collection event of the year is set for this Saturday.
You can drop off old paint cans, propane tanks and other flammable or corrosive materials at the public works facility on 20th Street East from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 28.
The service is also available for residents of Meaford, Georgian Bluffs, Chatsworth and Grey Highlands.
Hazardous waste from commercial, industrial, or farm operations is not accepted at the drop-off event.
